Mary Ann Johnson
NAMI Southern Arizona Board President

Picture
After working as a teacher and a human resources manager, Mary Ann Johnson has been a personal Financial Advisor for the past 18 years, currently with Ameriprise. She is also the proud Nana of four grandchildren. Mary Ann has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2010 and is currently serving as Board President. “I came to NAMI Southern Arizona through the Family-to-Family program and later taught the course twice. The people I have met through NAMI who have shared their struggles and blessings have shown me a way to live a positive life despite the challenges of living with a mental illness." Mary Ann is particularly proud of the work of the Board of Directors over the past few years in designing and beginning the implementation of a 3-year Strategic Plan. “I have been privileged to work with an exceptional group on the Board who are willing to give time and expertise to ensure that NAMI Southern Arizona will continue its work for all those who will benefit from these services in the future.”
